Superconducting Quantum Devices
Superconducting qubits are one of the most promising approaches to quantum computing. QCL is dedicated to designing and optimizing high-coherence superconducting qubits, exploring novel architectures and fabrication processes. Our research focuses on: - **Transmon qubit optimization**: Improving gate fidelity through design refinement and various couplers, enabling long-range gate operations - **Novel quantum devices**: Exploring artificial giant atoms, waveguide electrodynamics, and other novel superconducting quantum device architectures to expand quantum information processing capabilities - **Fabrication processes**: Improving qubit coherence time through advanced fabrication processes and material selection, developing Josephson junction fabrication methods and substrate processing techniques
