The wiring sets a phase-blind quantum memory’s gap, the weight caps its coherence
The paper looks at a question that is not yet settled: what the gap of a dissipatively corrected memory actually measures. It shows that in the class where every jump resets one basis state, the wiring can set the gap time while the phase keeps its own rate — under dephasing the gap time spans two orders of magnitude across wirings, while the phase does not move.
